thank you for your message. We are very glad you enjoyed our page.
Concerning motoring of the Sarap, actually they had several possibilities, from 845 cc until 1605cc by Renault.It just depended on financial grade of builders, because you know it was a kit-car.
A few Sarap were racing in the late sixties and early seventies, just before the Buffalo appeared. This buggy was much more competitive than the Sarap 691, so most drivers have choosen this new opportunity.

Very interesting page. Tres interesant. I have a racing Dauphine Gordini with the 1255cc Gordini moteur. Is it this, la meme moteur in the 671 proto? Do you have information on period racing history of the SARAP 671 proto ? Morten K

j'ai possédé une sarap de couleur verte qui appartenait à un coureur de sélestat mr stalder .
je l'ai revendu en 1972 à un garagiste de mulhouse
gaston lechleiter, après l'avoir repeinte en jaune et brun couleurs camel
je possède des photos si vous êtes intéressé
